I absolutely love this place. It's one of my favourite places to visit. The service is sweet and quick. Perfect for a good long chat without being bothered. Cozy in the rain. And CHEAP. The cakes were so delicious. I dreamt about them days later.

I enjoyed a lovely cream tea in this cozy tea room. The tea and scones were delightful, and the employees were friendly but gave me space to enjoy the refreshments. Also, it's located within a beautiful, historic park, so take a walk after tea!

One of my favorite places to eat in London! Afternoon tea was brilliant, if shared with a friend you can leave with a full belly and only $12 spent (what a deal in central London)! Outdoor seating is beautiful with a view of Vauxhall's local park or sit inside and cuddle up with the Tea House's friendly cats! This hidden gem has unique events such as shows, jazz nights, and other artsy activities taking us back in time to traditional London! Just a few minute walk from the tube, perfect in the rain and sunshine!

When we were visiting in London we ate here nearly every day. The scones are so good with the clotted cream. We had the Duchess Tea, it has a great variety of finger foods that are filling. There is a great assortment of teas that are really tasty. The atmosphere is cozy, warm and inviting. Wait staff was wonderful and attentive. Love love loved this place... and of course loved giving the kitty some love.

Having walked past this intriguing little place on several occasions on the way to and from the art galleries popping up around Vauxhall I was glad to finally have time to stop for tea and cake. Less quaint and quiet than usual due to Black Pride turning the area into a party zone we were still happy for a table in the sunshine.
My friend and I shared a large pot of darjeeling - proper leaf tea served with a strainer and a cuddly pot in a handmade tea cosy. The salted caramel cake provided a sugar rush lasting for the rest of the day, providing me with enough energy for the cycle ride back to Notting Hill, my friend's gluten free brownie was a similarly indulgent guilty pleasure.
Staff were very accommodating and friendly and even let us stay until the last minute, leaving our table till last when closing down for the night.
Can't wait for another excuse to return, perhaps even taking in one of their performances.
